2018 Travel Excursions
Each year, the Alumni Association partners with the Performing Arts Series to offer cultural excursions. Transportation is provided from Slippery Rock's campus or alumni can join us at the event site. Students, alumni and community members participate in these special programs.
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME

As we enter the Halloween season, be prepared to be awed and terrified when watching this silent horror classic, accompanied by the inimitable organist, Dave Wickerham. Wickerham is so discerning and has such a command of the organ, viewers will become part of every gripping scene and never view "The Hunchback" the same way again. Subscribers to the Performing Arts Series will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets. Subscribe early as tickets are limited. All prices include movie and post-show snacks. Transportation for this trip is by school bus.
• $35 with SRU subscription with bus transportation.
• $25 with SRU subscription without bus transportation.
• $40 without buying a SRU subscription with bus transportation.
• $30 without buying a SRU subscription without bus transportation. SRU students should ask about additional savings.
• Bus departs from the Alumni House at 12:30 p.m.
• Bus returns to SRU at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Heinz Hall as Conductor Lawrence Loh, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, three bewitching vocalists and the CMU Drama Singers explore all things Oz! Showstoppers from "The Wizard of Oz," "The Wiz," "Wicked" and Oz-inspired pop hits. A tour of the beautiful Heinz Hall is included in the price. Prices include a seat in Family Circle, Heinz Hall tour and Q & A session.
• $55 adult price with bus transportation.
• $40 adult price without bus transportation.
• $45 student and child with bus transportation.
