The outing will consist of a 9-hole scramble and include dinner at the club. Not a golfer? Join us for dinner afterward! Pappy Hour Friday August 26 at 7:30 pm Slippery Rock University Ski Lodge BYOB event following the Golf Outing. All are welcome, whether you participate in the outing or not! Bike Ride with Pap Saturday, August 27 at 8:00 am Slippery Rock University Ski Lodge Bring a bike to the Ski Lodge and join Pap for a retirement lap around campus. There will be a mountain bike and road bike option. If interested, please contact John Papa at [email protected] Alumni Race Saturday, August 27 at 11:00 am SRU Athletic Complex Join in a 5k race consisting of four 1250-meter loops... get a 50-meter head start for every year since you've graduated! Participants should meet at the Band Field next to Egli Soccer Field at 10:30 am to complete a registration form and liability waiver. There will be kid’s races too! Pap’s Retirement Picnic Saturday August 27 at 1:00 pm Slippery Rock University Ski Lodge The main event! Join us to honor Coach Papa after 35 years of dedication to Slippery Rock University Cross Country and Track and Field. There will be burgers, dogs, and adult beverages! Admission will be $25/adult and $15/child (age 12 and under) to cover meal costs. |
